I use to dream of owning a 5.0 Notchback in high school, so have always had a soft spot for Mustangs.
That being said, they definitely kept it safe with this design, not a real fan of the current design language to be honest.
But the performance is definitely impressive, and happy to see an independent rear suspension in there.

Thanks for the 14 years of LOLs. Govern yourselves accordingly and avoid uppercut reactions!
I think it looks terrible.
I liked the more boxy and angular current gen.
My neighbor has a 2014 GT500 convertible and it looks and drives incredible.
so they just put on taurus headlights and called it a day lol
2002 VW Golf GT TDI
2016 VW Passat BiTDI
Not bad .
The new engine offerings are interesting if nothing else.
they still dunno what do with the rear quarter panels on these things... that part of the car hasn't looked good since 2004
not bad though. not great, but not bad.
IMO it's almost flawless as I can't really find anything to pick at. Manages to look completely new while retaining classic Mustang styling cues. I was getting worried as some of the rendors that looked like a European coupe which doesn't look bad but doesn't look like Mustang.

05-09 body style ftw.
Well, Here it is! I'm not really feeling it though.

I like it. Ended up better than I thought it would from the renders. Side profile looks good the rear would take some getting used to though.
Can see a lot of the 66 fastback.
Will fuck off, again.

I say stupid shit all the time.
It's not bad. The greenhouse looks an awful lot like a Tiburon to me though.
Engine options sound good in the future, IRS is late but better than never.
I expect it will sell great, especially if they can really get the curb weight down to 32-3300 for the v-8.
I see history repeating itself though...ala 2005 and the power jump shortly after. Made those cars damn near worthless, great buys though.
The body style and engine upgrades should be together.
The flat-plane crank v8 sounds cool. Not entirely sure it makes sense, but it's something to wait for.
You must be blind. It looks like a Tiburon, not a Mustang.Originally posted by heavyD

Front end looks like a Fusion lol
Fusion front, Tiburon greehouse (I still see more BRZ/FS-R) Old school 66 all the way in the rear.
To me the greenhouse area looks too small for the car.
