Cell phone lot, at the entrance, not covered is still free.

It is the short term 30min parking within the parkade that has been cancelled.

I thought once they got rid of the free parking, suddenly the cell phone lot was jam packed all the time because people didn't want to pay. I read cellphone lot thought instead of cell phone pickup

Correct...as of a few weeks ago it was $5ish for less than 20 minutes, can't remember the exact cost.


EDIT: $3.50 for the first 30 minutes, $4.50 for the second 30, $7.95 there after

Park at the Timmies just north of Airport Trail on 19th Street as opposed to the cell phone lot or on the nearby streets.

I don't like it but I guess that's what the economy dictates.

Sometime I like to welcome people at the gate, especially it's their 1st time in the city or if they are seniors. Have to pay for that privilege now.

It's been gone for awhile now. Since August, at least.

I didn't really notice much of a difference when it got eliminated. It took the average person like 25 minutes to go from gate to baggage, so you'd have to time it pretty nicely, anyways.

I wish there was a gif on Nenshi's frustration in the interview stating that cabbies think he's doing back room deals with Uber. Just holding back on what he wanted to really say.
