Why is it a mega mall, it says in another story it is only 1/4 the size of mallzac. Outdoor concept will be amusing though in winter. Tanger is a pretty popular chain int he US though. Should be OK if it has different stores than elsewhere as I am assuming it will be the typical tanger stores

Most US outlet now sells lower quality products. If it's not lower quality, it's usually xs or xxxl sizes.

Agreed. Isnt there another one being built right across the road from X-Iron??? How many malls do we need?

The number of ethnicities in X-Iron at any given time proves this to be redundant... no?

I get that the concept and layout of the new balzac mall is geared towards a more "market" atmosphere, but I echo the sentiments expressed by many in this thread - why another mall?

Yeah, I loved taking lower Springbank Road to get to YBW(rather than Sarcee) when I worked there, minimal traffic nice scenery and quiet.

These guys proposed it many time to investors over the past few years, I know because they used our hangar at YBW year after year to showcase this mall as well as other nonsense projects that never get approved (like building normal houses/mansions near YBW where you live and drive your car into the garage and the back is a private hangar where you store your aircraft, literally fly out from your house).

Year after year the opposition(Springbank locals) show up as well to debate and sway the potential investors. I that portion of land, they'll be hard pressed to build anything that has to do with more traffic.

Well, if you count Signal Hill as a mall I guess.
