Not sure if its too Sci Fi for mainstream to stick around.

Started watching a new Sci-Fi TV show the other day called "Almost Human", Monday nights on Fox. Started Nov 17th and it's up to episode 4 now. Good torrents are out there if you want to catch up.
We didn't even realize until almost 10 minutes in that this was the show we watched being filmed when we were in Vancouver for our anniversary weekend in March. (This thread)
Surprised us, as it's not a bad show. Don't know if it will survive a full season or not. If you liked RoboCop, you'll like this show.
But here's a couple of screenshots from episode 1 and the shot from us watching the filming:

I'm really liking it so far as well. I haven't watched ep 4 yet, but for the first 3, so far so good.
I think the actor that plays Dorian (sp?) is superb!

My favorite show right now. I HATED how it started, incredibly cliche but it's pretty damn entertaining.

I like it and I hope it sticks around. I think to be successful it has to differentiate itself from other procedural crime dramas by taking advantage of the sci-fi setting with more creative crimes. They started off well with the first two episodes but the last two were pretty standard.

I almost missed it as well....even though I was there for the Pilot's filming, I completely forgot about it. I'd see a few seconds here 'n' there while channel surfing, but I don't pay much attention to any shows that are on the "Big 4", as they're all pretty much cheesy (ie: Heroes, Lost, etc etc).Originally posted by 403Gemini

The crystal method sound track really makes this show.
Sounds like mass effect at some points.

The show is great, and has some great one liners in it as well.
"Benedict Android"..LOL! There have been a bunch of others I can't recall off the top of my head, but some really subtle funny lines have been inserted into the dialogue.
Continuum being shot in Vancouver and being a similar future cop with future gadget type of show is ok, but I'm finding Almost Human to be far superior thus far, and has me hooked already.
