Again, with the CRA as per Paypal, they will only try to go after the bigger one time transactions - say worth more than 20,000 CAD. If youre making small withdrawals to various BTC addresses - or better yet, mixing your coins with other alt coins, they wont have a clue and will need ISP (and probably NSA) support. BTC is not anonymous.

How long have you been waiting? And with which exchange?

    QuadrigaCX

Originally they gave 2 options, I did one which involved verification through a Credit check, but then I went back on Thursday to start buying only to find out I needed to now provide Address/ID/etc verification

Probably quadrigacx I’ve been waiting 4 days they just manually check it the other exchanges use bots to verify I think because it’s verified along with the registration process

Yep I did the verification through equifax first then had the option to buy after that, I held off as I did more research first and now I'm stuck waiting

I verified with them back in May when things were really starting to take off for BTC, and that took several weeks as they apparently received 3 years worth of new accounts verification's within several weeks (this was from a QCX employee on reddit). With the recent crypto hype you may be waiting quite a while before fully verified.

I had a feeling they would be busy with the recent explosion, it's just annoying that I was verified and all of a sudden I'm not... or perhaps it was an error on their website that showed I was

Can you trace Bitcoin like that though? Wouldn't it be like looking for a needle in a new York sized haystack?
Only on markets do you need to give your full name + verify information. If you transfer elsewhere there is no real names if you send via blockchain or a different wallet (Don't give your name to make an account)

If you wanted you could technically VPN each time and have no trace I guess?

That guy is just a hired person to push the FIAT agenda. The same old tired horseshit.

FIAT cash is still, by far, the biggest exchange for illegal drugs. The Americans literally fly c130s full of 100 bills to Afghanistan. And regulators on the stock markets?? LOL ..... what a joke.

I was wrong, had viewed the futures market as a chance for wall street to short bitcoin (I appreciate they settle in cash not coins).

Interesting, we saw a bounce upward. If the same result occurs on the 18th we should be in for another significant breakout. As an aside, CBOE website crashed!

$30,000 coins will be here in 2018. @Buster you shorting yet?
