So the wife and I have been supporters of Homeless Partners for a few years now and believe the program is worthwhile and aligned in the true spirit of Christmas. Right now they need monetary donations to redo the website and register as a charity. The goal is 10k and they're at about 8k with less than 8 hours left in the campaign. Please give them consideration and show your generosity.

Coles Notes version of the orginazation is you're a Santa for someone or a family in a shelter, or on the street. The people are given a chance to ask something for Christmas and that wish is placed on the Homeless Partners website for anyone to make happen. Typically it's stuff like jackets, or boots, or work gear, or bus tickets. It's personalized so you'll have sizes and details. Buy it, wrap it up, and take it to the Drop-In. They'll have something to open on Christmas. Like I said before, I think it's worthwhile and in the spirit of what Christmas should be. Spread a few bucks around and help get that website revamped and expand the program.

Right on. Having been homeless myself less than 10 years ago and knowing first hand what it's like when work boots mean the difference between getting a job or not, I'm gonna help out this year. Xmas always bums me out anyways gonna take $500 or so and make some people happy and help out.
