Issue with Jeep JK transfer case
One of my friends (not a member) has an 08 Wrangler Unlimited. the issue she is having is that when she shifts from 2wd into 4wd high it sometimes pops into neutral and gets stuck there. When she tries to force the lever back it resists and makes a grinding sound.
Does anyone who knows these vehicles have any idea what the issue might be? I was hoping there is some sort of common problem that would could try to address on our own with out taking it in to the dealer.
On that note, if anyone knows a reputable indy shop in Etown, let me know.
