    The article currently has one dumb ass user comment:

    Please add $750 to your estimates of the Total Cost of 0wnership of Micro$oft Windows.
    And if that comment wasn't loony enough, the police Lieutenant states, "We were never compromised".

    Hmmm, expect for the tiny matter of a criminal holding you hostage and being forced to pay the ransom.

    FYI- There is no known way to decrypt the files without paying the ransom.

    Im sure there are a lot of embarrassed IT staff out there who were in charge of the backups to prevent something like this from happening.
