Here's another question.. Someone has a PERMIT not a full license.. gets suspended in NB for unpaid fines (you cannot get suspended in the graduated program or else you have to start all over again), and then drives.. gets charged for driving while suspended. There is now a suspension term where this person can not obtain a license until a specific date after his fines are paid. Lets say its January 2015 so a year from now. Can this person move to another province, get their residence (proof of address and employment) and then walk into their motor vehicle branch and apply for a driver's permit and just pretend they've never had a license before. All these questions are pertaining to having a suspended license and then trying to switch it over. Im talking walk in there like you're a brand new driver. Hand them your new province ID which is totally separate from your NB ID. Because I'm pretty sure the NB drivers license number is how say.. Alberta.. would know you are suspended but if you get a new drivers permit.. the number is different, therefore there would be no way to tell??? Anyone help?
