Lumtec - 2013 black friday sale

Have been eyeing up the LumTec M57 the last month or so and just got word that LumTec (and Wristweapon) will have Black Friday specials, sounds like 15% off everything. I’ve searched on here and have only found good things said about the company. I assume 15% off is about the best you’re going to get with these watches? Any experience on the black PVD coating wearing?

they offer 10% off to return customers often... so yeah 15% off is the best i've seen.

as for the watches themselves. they are built right. buy enthusiasts, for enthusiasts IMO... all i know is hitting the road at ~60hm/h (yes, watch made contact) isnt enough to break one

What kinda shape was the case and crystal in after that?

Nobody have the PVD finish on theirs?

but yeah, crystal was fine, strap looked like i took sand paper to it, and had a nick out of the case

I have a tungsten carbide case M22. I wear it daily and it's flawless. Granted that's what you get for having one of the toughest materials on the planet as your case and strap.

The scratching and marring of the PVD coating was what turned me away from buying a phantom Lumtec in the first place.

I have an M23 in tungsten and a B6 Combat in PVD. PVD has held up extremely well and it still looks pretty much new after 2 years.

what do you guys think of the v1 or the v4?

i cant decide if rosegold is something i will get sick of...

I gotta have that watch, I don't care what anyone says, rose gold is the shit. Also, I ended up dropping my phantom and the pvd has no scratches, but surprisingly, the scratch resistant sapphire is scratched to shit.

I have a strap very similar to this on my Nav B. Uhr. I feel it's pretty distinctive and wears well, but i don't think it looks good with the PVD finish on the M57...too much contrast.

If you're looking for "something different" go with the 2nd.

I have been rocking this watch for almost a year now! Probably the best purchase I have ever made (well not really but I am definitely satisfied!). Feels great, good weight and looks sharp!

Definitely pull the trigger! It is great!

Yup, it’s the same watch just different straps, both of which come with the watch.
