Hey guys,
I applied to both U of A and U of C for their MBA programs starting in 2013 and had the option of attending either one. I ended up choosing U of C for a few different reasons and deferring my admission until 2014. My employer offered me some pretty sweet incentives to stay for another year before going back to school, including expanding our business into the US market and being home every night. Current job is oil/gas related. I have my reasons for wanting to complete an MBA, but I don't want to get into those right now.
With that said, I was hoping to get some advice/thoughts/etc. from people who have completed or are completing their MBAs through Haskayne:
1) Did you get a lot out of it/would you do it over again?
2) Do you wish you would've went to a different school/completed a different program?
3) Was the student-base decent to spend two years with? I'm from a really small rural Alberta town and don't have patience for arrogance/better-than attitudes.
4) Any other advice/thoughts.
Looking at the salary averages of Haskayne MBAs, I'm already making more than the average person; however, I understand 20 years from now they may be in a more advanced position within a company than me and it may be a different story.
Thanks for any info/responses!
