Default Share your reasons to be grateful.

It's a good time of year to think of the things we are grateful for.

I'm grateful for my wife, who always inspires me to be a better person than I am.

I'm grateful to have a good job with good co-workers.

I'm grateful for the health of my parents.

I am grateful that I always have a warm place to go, and never have to be cold for long.

I'm grateful for a winter that stops the spread of rats and cockroaches.

I'm grateful for those that share what they know with me.

I'm grateful for a vehicle that starts reliably every morning.

I'm grateful that no one is shooting at me, that my children are being raised in a safe place, and that we have unlimited clean running water.

I'm grateful that I have enough money that I can use some of the surplus to help others.

I'm grateful for my own good health.

Grateful for family, it's been a big year for all of us. Also grateful I can walk into the grocery store to buy any food based on what I want, not because it's all I can afford.

    Also grateful for Winter Ale

At the moment, beer and Jalapeno chips. Don't know what I'd do without them.

Grateful I was born into the country/city/family that I was. I haven't wanted for much, and probably never will.

    Grateful for my family.

Grateful that I found out my awful ex wife was fcking around on me, it spurred many changes in the past year and a significant paradigm shift in my life.

Grateful for the awesome gf I have now, and her great family.

Grateful my parents have a house in Hawaii that I'll be going to in a couple short weeks.

Also, I'm looking out my office window at some guys working outside right now... lets just say I'm not exactly jealous of them.

I thought this thread was gonna be kinda lame when I clicked on it, but I'm glad I did. It's nice to reflect now and then.

As I get older, I find that I appreciate the beauty in things more and more - prairies, Alberta sky's, mountains, animals, flowers, architecture, music, you name it. For this I am grateful cause it sure makes life enjoyable.

Also as I get older, grateful that I've got a decent head on my shoulders. It astounds me how stupid people can be. And I'm talking PhD and VP types, people who you'd think had an eye for detail and an ounce of foresight (cynical I know..not so grateful for that trait lol)
