I've found Songza, Grooveshark and TuneIn your best choices.

Any of these work on iPhone or have an app?
I've been using the jango app for a while but lots of the same songs play

8tracks has an app on iPhone and Android

with this though, it's not really online radio...people have created playlists (8 tracks) in different genres

We run Pandora at home and I like it.

For some reason I was never able to get TuneIn dialed in and struggled to find stations that I liked.

You didn't specify free or not.

So, SiriusXM. Now that you can customize stations (MySXM) it's by far the most awesome way to listen to radio.

I paid for Live365, no ads has been awesome, it was ok with the ads but I walked my dog with it and used it at work.

I removed my XM radio in my Forester and put in a Pandora radio, LOOOOVE pandora because of the skip function. Sucks you need a VPN though.

I use the Hype Machine at work/home/in the car (awesome streaming app that also caches songs). If you like finding new stuff and are open to hearing new genres, you'll never get bored of this site.
