    Default X5 mods

I'm thinking about getting my back lights tinted and 20 inch rims painted mat black.

What is the best place to take the car for this? In terms of price and quality.

How much should it costs? Hoping to get it done for cheap.

    FYI it's a 2005 4.8is

    Thanks!

    ugh. don't

    save it for maintenance.

The 20's on the 4.8 are grey and look great to begin with; they don't need some shity paint job.

Exactly. Don't. Why do you want to douche it up by tinting the tail lights?!

Just plastidip your rims and leave the tint off your lights, or if you're really set on it then shadow can do it for you. I can dip your rims if you have a garage to work in.

    Amen to that!

Be happy to have such a rare BMW SUV and don't bugger it up with Canadian Tire Mods.

Whops sorry, I guess each to their own...

Hey I saw one with it and think it looks great. Ddduke I have a garage but no tools to get the rubber off or anything. Would that still work? How much would that stuff cost? How much does tinting lights cost?

Also car is under a 2 year warranty so I don't need to save money for maintenance. I do want it to look professionally done though and don't want to spray it myself. I'm not the best with paint.

You don't need any tools, if you want then shoot me a pm and I can do it for you.

Wow, this place makes no sense. Hallowed point wants to rice of a 1000$ cavalier and everyone thinks it's cool but when this guy plastidips his wheels (something that probably hundreds of beyonders have done) everyone jumps on him. Isn't there a thread all bout painting your winter wheels stupid colors?

Ya, but I don't think there is a thread (other than this one) on how to make your $2500 wheels look like they came out of a canadian tire flier

If you think that looks as good as this you are crazy

To each his own I guess. Also, that x5 you posted looks abused.

Black wheels only look good on certain wheels and cars, and I don't think it fits in this case. They look like cheap winter steelies.

I think the black wheels look good. Do what you like with your car.

I would start off by tinting the windshield.
