I've probably spent more time trolling classifieds for parts for it than actually putting it together at this point, lol

Annd fixed drain. Also finished the exhaust 100%, put in an O2 bung and made the connector from the bypass valve to the stock exhaust.

    Put all my exhausticles on.

    O2 bung in a nice easy-access spot.

My sneakiness is well hidden from underneath

Also blew apart that Si tranny I had. Input bearing already removed.

    Muh shafts.

Muh balls. This is one of the fucked bearings I'm replacing.

    This week:

Replaced 2 fucked bearings in tranny and input seal. Deglazed gear cones. Reassembled tranny.

Test fit intercooler and cut grille out of bumper.

And tonight, a little modification to the intercooler. Still a noob at aluminum but getting better. Found out pie cuts suck for Al. because the fitup is far from great, and you need GOOD fitup for aluminum.

Try shallower angles/more cuts with the aluminum pie bends. It only takes an extra section or two to make a big difference to fitup:

Will keep that in mind next time I do them. The rest of the charge pipe will be 2.5" which I have plenty of pieces with mandrel bends.

I think another problem with my pie cuts is one side is angled and one side is cut straight. I think I need to half the angle on my saw and cut both sides angled.

Ah yes, that will definitely help. Once you have the angle and length of each segment you like, mark it with a piece of tape on your chop saw so you just feed the tube up to the tape before cutting. Try drawing 2 lines on opposite sides of the tube (like the red line in the picture I posted) and use them for guides, then you just chop, rotate tube 180 degrees, feed, repeat. You can whip off a ton of pieces in no time. Still takes forever to weld though :p
