The reliability problems with the B5 S4, befall the stock KO3 turbos, they often fail before 100k.
    265hp in S4 and 400 in RS4.

The B5 RS4 has stronger engine internals, K04 turbos, bigger intercoolers, put together by Cosworth, and comes in a package that is just right in size imo. Add to that the amazing euro recaro's, steering wheel, and the widebody, and it's why I desire it so.

For example, since the B5, the A4 has grown in size considerably. Bringing us to present where the new A3 (MQB) is very similar in size.
That makes more sense to me now.

Personally, I'd still have a lot of trouble paying that much money for a vehicle that old (with who-knows-what type of service history), but I can definitely see why someone would want one.

This thread had me searching mobile.de for RS4's lol, there are a few nice ones for sale!

I need a bigger garage for all the cars I want to own, time to move to an acreage!

Only one car truly interests me of the '99 models.

    The S15. WANT.

    Cam,

Is there really one in town? As far as I know there aren't. I heard that there was someone passing their A4 as an RS4 but not an honest to goodness B5 RS4. If there is I want to see it

Yeah the RS2 is very minty

As for DJ, he doesn't have an RS4 badge, just the front bumper is an RS4 bumper and yeah it's a saloon/sedan not an Avant

    R34 Gt-R?

I would say $60K for a decent one

I thought the appeal of importing a RHD over here is that those individual's would otherwise not be able to afford a similarly equipped LHD performance car.

I understand the appeal of the R34, but you'd spend >$20k on a RHD? Silly.

Curious... (I don't know GTR's that well), but I remember when the R32 GTR's were first arriving they were around 20k... I wonder why you think that the R34's would be that much more.

As of a few months ago he had an RS4 badge on there... and it was an OEM S4 bumper unless he replaced it with an RS4 one after he cracked his last month.

    Because the R34 Gt-R is "THE" Gt-R

The stuff F&F dreams are made of

In the UK they are going for around 30K pounds for a good low mileage example...

God I'd love a blue garage queen

and an S15 to drift exits and crash into guard rails

Ya, it has nothing do with production numbers.

    40,000 R32 GTR
    16,000 R33 GTR
    12,000 R34 GTR

    Oh, Zipdoa already covered it.

Man, sitting 4 feet further to the right, who could ever manage that? Dumb post

Man, thinking that a 4ft differential in seating position is the only negative implication of driving a RHD car? Dumb post
