Where does this leave the motor cyclic's hand shake?
Can we drive these in bikes lanes?
I can see the appeal here. For commuting duty, I might even consider it.

Mugen is going to run an electric bike at the isle of mann. Hopefully the technology will advance and get into civilian use sooner than later. I would definitely look into this for commuting use.

I MAKE BALLER CARS MORE BALLER.....
I agree but top speed and range are deal breakers. It was nice to see the weight down in the 200lbs range but if you only get 30mins of battery at 120km/hrOriginally posted by Masked Bandit

I'm all for ways of being green and such but in reality one of the reasons why I like a bike for is the noise.
No doubt.. cracking the throttle and hearing nothing would really weird me out. Im sure my neighbors wouldnt mind electric when i come home at 1am after a night ride though..Originally posted by firebane

Ya I think the lack of noise would be really weird. Not to mention dangerous, considering that people have trouble noticing silent electric cars. How are motorists going to notice a silent motorbike next to them?
Would be interesting to ride one though.
