Default Buying a Snowboard, Need your help!

    Hey guys ,

I am looking for a snowboard and I wanted to get your feedback. I am a beginner but want a board that I wont outgrow anytime soon.

I have chosen 3 and wanna see what you guys think I should get.

1> Rossignol Krypto Magtek : Link

2> Burton Men's Prime Snowboard Link

3> Burton Process 3D McMorris Snowboard Link

    Which one should I get??

Also, What should I look for, Camber Vs Rocker or Hybrid

What are you most interested in once you get better park, or all mountain?

This site was pretty helpful for me: http://www.the-house.com/helpdesk/snowboard-sizing/.
Although you can get a fairly good idea on what board you "should" get, you really never know until you've tried a couple.

my opinion is that just get a decent all mountain board but really spend the money on your boots and bindings.

    What is said here.

The Snowboarding thread had helpful tips when I was looking for my gear last week.

Bought a nice sintered board for cheap on Kijiji and went out on bindings and boots.

Buying a burton with their single track system; entangles you to Burton's (boards & bindings) and their 20% premium.
Bindings are really hard to fuck up.
    Concentrate your dollars on boots.

    Truth.

The easiest way to narrow down your board is to figure out how you want to ride. Are you going for tricks and stuff, or do you want to cruise down runs? That's park vs all mountain (or if you want deep powder there are those boards too).

Most beginners get all mountain, as they are pretty flexible. But yes, spend good money on boots and bindings, as they make a huge difference.
