Hi, just wondering if anybody can answer this question: For an item already on sale, do Sportchek employees get 40% off original price or 40% off the sale price?
and if anybody wants to hook up their discount feel free to PM away!

I have a $150 Sport Chek gift card. I will sell it to you for $120.
I also have a team assist coupon that will give you 20% off the ticketed price.

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
I believe it's 40% no matter what, but it's actually more than that in some cases. My gf works there and I got a new Under Armor plaid button up that bad just came out that's costs $145 for $65 plus tax.
The discount is cost plus 10%. You can thank the now-defunct Sport Mart for that, since the Chek discount was different before Sport Mart was acquired, and assumed that discount structure.
Cost varies, depending on whether or not the item has already been discounted and what kind of item it is. It usually works out to just under 50% off. More discount on items we bought on closeout (bought my wife $350 ski boots last weekend for $120), and less discount on certain low-markup items like bikes.
And Max_Boost: Can I ask you if you got the Team Assist coupon via an actual team, or was it a "fake" signup? I guess someone decided to exploit a hole in our Team Assist program, and post it over the net on a well-known website. Just curious... not gonna cancel it on you or anything. The woman who runs the Team Assist program is pretty unhappy about it.

"I legit"? Well thank you. Me glad.
You also get a discount at Atmosphere as well. My sister works at SC and was able to get me a $800 jacket for about $350
Yes, of course. And since we were acquired by Canadian Tire, I actually get a discount there too as well as PartSource. That discount structure is different though, and is a flat 17.5%. (Which is actually a better setup, since C. Tire tends to have amazing sales, so that's just icing)
I'm not sure if all employees are eligible for the C. Tire discount though - it might just be a head office thing?
I've heard that sport chek employees get discounts at other forzani group's as well.
I worked at Sport Mart for 7 years part time over the years, it was the absolute best job ever. Cost plus 10% was an awesome savings on a lot of stuff like rackets, but it was surprising with some of the stuff that wasn't marked up nearly as heavily. I usually found that cost + 10% worked out to about 50% off.
The best deals were always pro deals. Usually offered by any company that we sold. It would be cost minus 10-20% depending on the company, and it didn't have to be specific product we sold. I picked up some Rossi S6 skis, Rossi Scratch 120 bindings, ans Scratch 110 boots, and scratch poles. Retail on the package at the time was about $2k I got everything for $750. Pro Deals were usually 60-70% off of retail.
jordanturbo is like herpes... Always coming back for more
You can sign up for team assist via real or fake team. More than one person can apply for team assist via the same team name. They don't really care.
if you sign-up on sportcheck.ca they will email you a 10% discount code.
I've done it with 2 of my email accounts
^ or teamassist and they send you 20 booklets that include (20% off any one item, $10 off $50 or less, 2 free skate sharpenings). plus you get 5% of all purchases back in a GC at the end of the season.
Anyone (Kloubek) know when the next family and friends 25% off thing is...?
Thought they always did it ever 4-5 weeks before, haven't seen one in a while.
wow... man i want that adidas official world cup match ball...Originally posted by boarderfatty
