Default Auto Obsessed New Prep - 2013 Kia Optima - full paint restoration

    2013 Kia Optima

Autoobsessed performed a full exterior paint correction on this brand new 2013 Kia Optima that had extensive paint damage from improper polishing. Prior to the two stage polishing exterior underwent a full decontamination wash including iron removal and tar, engine bay detailing, exhaust tips were touched up, wheels detailed and lastly paint protection film was applied to the hood, fenders, mirrors, bumper, headlight and fog lights. To ensure a long lasting environmental protection the exterior was coated in Gtechniq EXO V.2.

We used the Rupes 15ES big foot during the two stage polish, Link to 15ES. For the polishes, first stage was Menzerna's Fast Gloss 400, Link to FG400, final stage was achieved with Sonax Perfect Finish Link to Perfect Finish. To provide a durable exterior paint coating we went with Gtechniq's EXO V.2, Link to EXO V.2.

Looks like you put 3M on the hood, that's when you know you've done a great job. Open a shop in Calgary.

Also, top and bottom three for paint quality?
