Ya just put up the most yards against the #4 rush defense in the conference championship game, oh and the only player to run for over 100 yards against them all year..... Completely shut downIf you take out his longest run in each game he's barely averaging 3 yards a carry. NO was his best game in recent memory but he also got the ball more than any other game this year. Seriously, every game I've paid attention to him he's been average at best, but then once per game he'll find/make a gap and exploit the shit out of it. That's the same as any other RB though.Originally posted by buh_buh
Lynch had a 40 yard run and basically did nothing before and after that.
I feel like the hype around him comes from the fact that he's on Seattle, but I'm willing to admit I'm not educated enough to be firm on this.
He also had a 30 yard run against NO on 28 carries. Take away that 30 yard run and he's down to 100 yards rushing on 27 carries. Again, not that impressive.
I know he still made those long runs, but as Mibz says, he's not that good every down.
niners outplayed seattle the majority of that game.
it came down to a couple lucky plays for the hawks and some bad luck for the niners. losing lupati and bowman plus some of the bad calls.... even then the niners had a good shot to win.
hawks are a good team but not a great offense and they arent likely to keep denver off the board.
Hate the seahawks, but their going to win. In a battle of Great offense Vs. Great defense, the defense has won much more.
PFM is going to win the superbowl and cement himself as the GOAT!
I feel like its going to come down to composure, the Seahawks are more likely to crack than Manning.

Of any QB in the league that'll be capable of picking apart Seattle's cover 3, Manning is. Seattle's cover 3 is considerably more aggressive than the typical version, but when you're pressing guys like DT and Decker, you're going to have to soften the coverage somewhere and that'll either be in the slot or at the TE position which means a lot of passes too Welker and Thomas. Both of whom are deadly.
Having said that, Lynch vs Ball/Moreno is going to be really important. Broncos turn the ball over a lot on fumbles, and the Seahawks will probably want to keep the ball out of Manning's hands as much as possible.

i think its mannings year, so im taking the broncos.
that being said, the seahawks D will keep this game very close. it may come down to the last drive and if its peyton with the ball, hes gonna close the show. if its on russel, im thinking broncos will be able to shut him down.
wilson will have to come up HUGE, because that run game will be shutdown by the broncos front line. he's made big plays the last two weeks, when it mattered but if one of those 50 yrd bombs didnt connect, we might seeing a different matchup this year.
Manning playing outdoors in cold weather in New York...I'm a huge Broncos and Manning fan but the one thing I don't like is Manning in cold weather.
Regardless, GO BRONCOS!
I WILL TAKE THE SEAHAWKS STRAIGHT UP PM ME IF INTERESTEDOriginally posted by beyond_ban
I am willing to throw a friendly bet of $200 on the broncos. Let me know if there are any takers

Straight up means there is no spread.Originally posted by 01RedDX
For you guys saying "straight up" are you betting against the spread? If so, who calls the spread?
Sorry for the dumb question, the only sports betting I've ever done was on outcome.
what's the over/under on Omaha's?
