So wait you bought a GTi then decided the same day to buy a 370Z too?

Haha no, the dealer had both of these cars and I went there pretty much ready to do the deal on the GTI but went home with the 370Z. The GTI was great though, trying to talk my wife into trading in the SUV
No I think he bought the 370Z instead of the GTI.Originally posted by Twin_Cam_Turbo

Also congrats! 370 is a solid car with a solid engine. You will have alot of fun in it
what was the price difference between the two cars?
Are you financing? what's the rate you got?

Thanks Redlined.
The difference was only a few thousand dollars between the cars, and I financed the balance at 6.99% after I traded the ZHP.

Good deal you got with the 370.
Now get/use a HELOC and pay off that 6.99% Loan.
Insurance Pro
A HELOC would have taken like 3 weeks to process according to the bank, and 6.99% is the lowest bank offered rate. Might still do a HELOC but the balance isn't really that much that it would make a lot of difference, it would only save a couple percent.
This is going to be your year round car right?
Congrats, add some pictures when you get them uploaded.

I think you made a better choice than the GTI. Congrats and enjoy the new car.
Haha, yeah my year round car. At least for this year. Only a couple months of winter left now though, and I've got Blizzaks going on today. The convertible top wasn't bad even in -25 so far, and I see lots of 350Z's and other comparable cars winter driving. It was pretty useless with the summer 275/35/19 rears in that snowstorm once I got on top of the snow covered ice though lol, the car barely moved but I got it home .
Thanks guys, I'll update with some pics soon.

Awesome choice OP, RWD FTW. Enjoy!
A coworker has an auto 370z as his year round car, 275/35/19 winters on the rear, he seems to make it to work every morning at the very least , he said it was something like $350 tireOriginally posted by mslbebiz

You will be fine..especially with blizzacs and stick shift. I'm not a huge fan of the 370Z aside from the engine but it looks good in that color combo.Originally posted by mslbebiz

Nice, I'm going to run 245/45/19's, and as usual add a couple sandbags in the back.Originally posted by n1zm0
