Folding kayak! I haven't backed it but the idea is absolutely fantastic.

An updated ROM for the Mighty No. 9 game I backed. This is going to be wicked.

So I backed Airdog. Actually managed to pick up an early bird spot that someone forfeited a couple minutes before the campaign ended. Can't wait for ski season! Hopefully they stay on schedule.

I have a feeling the air space around the jumps will be cluttered with these if they actually work as well as advertised. And are cheap enough. They'll be banging into one another, maybe there should be a setting for altitude levels like with planes.

Last time I looked at that one they didn't have the fitness tracker features. Now I'm much more interested. Concerning though that they don't even have a miniaturized prototype yet...

Goal zero already makes something like that and can be bought locally already. I have one. Works great.

    Exactly... No prototype yet?
And their development timeline seems unrealistic.

They've reached over 2,000% of what they asked for. You'd think they'd ramp it up.

    Hmm maybe a scam?

Could you post a thread about this when you get it.

I was about to buy one and decided not too because i figure the ski hills will ban them ASAP.

10Wh for $140 that takes 6-8hrs to charge? The kickstarter one is far more efficient

If it works as advertised. I also like having the AA batteries for putting them into my hiking GPS receiver. Gives me options.

Ya I've seen those but they looked too bulky and the recharge times seemed long.

I will absolutely be putting something up. And I'm definitely not going to be using mine on busy runs - probably runs where nobody else is. But I'm sure other users will be much less careful with them. Kind of the problem dumbing down a technology that really needs to be respected to be safe.

That's pretty much describing multirotor RCs to a T. The responsibility isn't there for most users and it will be the government that brings in controls for them..

Why is he looking at his right hand when he's wearing it on his left hand?
