Red face Stay At Home Dads

Any stay at home Dads out there? Im used to working all the time and all of a sudden I find myself going to be home with my little girl for an indefinite period of time. Im on week 2 and I dont know what im going to do with myself. I find myself bored, lacking motivation and unsure what to do all day.

Looking for things to do, good time killers online and any any tips at all to cope with my new dayjob.

A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.

when it was warm we would bike (chariot) to the park every day for an hour. but in the winter we hibernate.

Any suggestions? I've been crunching my brain about this since a while and can not come up with anything. Doing anything that would need a garage is out of the question.

Yea I think the winter is the big problem here. I hate being stuck in the house all day, but there is just no way to do anything outside with an 18 month old in the cold.

My neighbor did this. Sold his previous business to stay at home with daughter, and has been a stay at home dad for about a decade now.

As far as I know he helps fill the time by volunteering at his daughter's school, and runs a leisure-based sporting goods business out of his home.

we go to the mall a little before the stores open so she can run around with much foot traffic. gotta watch out for senior mall walkers they want to touch and talk to the little ones.

It's not a long-term thing. I'm an electrician, and just recently quit my job. But I have school coming up in the spring so there's not much point in me starting with someone and having to leave in a few months so I just decided to spend some quality time with my daughter.

One of the best thing in life is to see your child grow up each and every day.
Spend time with your daughter since this is not a long term thing for you.

Places like the YMCA have free babysitting for members. Drop the kid off and get ripped.

How old is your daughter? Are you taking her out for daily activities?

She's 18 months but haven't been taking her out lately. Both of us were battling a bug and the weather's been too cold for outside activity.

18 months... play teacher? Plan activities for you and your daughter? Start teaching her to swim, ride bikes, climb... at that sort of stuff that you can do with a two year old.

If you're gonna be there, BE there.

I know I missed out on a lot of stuff with my daughter growing up due to working, and I DID miss out. I'm jealous that you get to be there for all those firsts.

Hit the fitness classes... get some books on teaching your child.. take them out and about to all the social activities you can find. There's shit ton's of mommy & me stuff, and some seriously nice milf eyecandy at them too.
