I have a roof box on top of the Q.
Any Parkades near southeast portion of core have 8 foot allowances?
Ideally near Hyatt or Bow.
Thanks

Not sure the actual height, but James Short is one of the tallest. (Various companies that were in Bow Valley or Suncor would send their larger trucks there.)
There is one by Nexen that you can fit a 4Runner in with some breathing room. Not sure the exact address. Might be enough
James short is 6'8".
Hyatt is 6'6".
The BOW is the newest but won't accommodate either. 8 Ft = park outside.

The Delta Bow Hotel underground parking has the first level for trucks only, not sure heights but i'm pretty sure you'd fit, i've seen some pretty tall trucks parked there.
Livingston place is the tallest I know of I believe it's over seven feet.

srs? I thought it was taller.
I squeeze my truck into a place that's marked at 1.9m, whatever that is. The antenna hits every sprinkler head.

So does anyone know what the minimum clearance requirements are for parkades?Originally posted by TYMSMNY

Hyatt is 6'6".
If they put up a sign that says 6'6", and my truck is 6'6", I assume there's and extra inch or two clearance throughout the entire parkade, right?

The first level of the Delta Bow Valley in the oversized vehicle parking section to the left once you enter the garage should be able to accommodate your truck possibly. I fit my F150 with 3'' lift and 33's into it.

LOL.. that happened to me in James Short... just about spilled my coffee because I slammed on the brakes... thought I was fucked for a moment hehe.Originally posted by Cos
The place i am parked at now is marked 6'6" in my f150. Antenna hit every pillar and I had to close the sunroof shade because it freaks me out. I can't imagine even with stock tire size as my winters are 30's.
Their minimum clearance usually means the lowest clearance point in the parkade... could be a sprinkler head, pipe etc. Just don't go wandering in the corners and sloped areas lol.Originally posted by CapnCrunch

Use to go into a parkade downtown and the roof rails would always hit the clearance sign. never had an issue parking in the stalls.
That's why I asked. I was on my way into one that said 6'-6", and the height clearance tube was rolling around on my roof. I had to back up and turn around in the aisle which was an adventure.Originally posted by TYMSMNY

Apparently my truck is 6'-6.3" tall lol. It got me thinking about how or where they actually determine the minimum clearances.

They're all stupid low, My truck is over 7'... it won't even fit in my home garage. It's stock, no lift or anything (F350)

My antenna hits before anything else, so it gives me some warning. Roof rails are next.. But even mine is only 6'4 or so
