Default Looking for previous owner of Element @ TNT Honda

I've been on the prowl for a purple or green Element for awhile to do a ecamper conversion. I found one at TNT Honda and was wondering if anyone knew who the previous owner was ?

It's got a few ricey bits on it (3m carbon wrap, start engine button, etc) so I'd think he or she was an active forum member.

I would recommend you 3m the entire front end of the vehicle, make sure they wrap the 3m around the front edge of the hood and expect to go through a windshield a year.

Gas mileage will not be as good as you had hoped. The back doors can be a PITA to open in tight spots too.

Oh and try push them on the price. Element's are not generally in high demand...

T&T wouldn't do shit for me on the price when I bought mine but I also bought new (not from them either).

That element is so overpriced. I have a base model and want something new or at a minimum trade up to an SC. That one caught my eye a while back but they haven't dropped the price at all.

And +1 on windshield. Mine is smashed to shit haha

And are you interested in a rare cargo khaki element?

Had a friend go look at it a few weeks back, they are pretty stubborn on that price.

Looked at that one as well. In general, the 3 they have on the lot are in bad shape and overpriced. Did you look at the silver 06 at Honda west? Just saw it yesterday and its in nice shape. Plus its AWD

I've always wondered... what are the "list items" that would distinguish between a car that is in good shape and bad shape other than mechanical parts failing and physical damage. I've always heard people say cars are in bad shape even though they're okay mechanically with a few parking lot dings.

That makes no sense ... the body and the drive train make up most of the cost of ownership of a vehicle.

Bad shape visually. Rust/dings etc. and for the asking price, why would you?? Plus the 2 I drove, drove like crap (brakes, steering) so to each their own. Just MHO.

I've owned a FJ cruiser before so these things aren't a problem.
