... I do it all the time with serious/decent weights. Although when I'm going for something crazy on deadlifts, I do take them off and set them aside.

For the guys complaining about the wires getting in the way: why not just tuck them under your shirt? That's what I do...

I use bowers and Wilkins C5's. Great design that keeps them in your ears and excellent sound quality. Beats just screams you're doing it for the looks and because everyone else has them.

Personally I can't handle headphones when I'm working out. If you're just sitting on a machine headphones are fine, but going for a run, bouncing around with something like P90x, yoga, etc. I much prefer earbuds.

There are some high end earbuds for reasonable prices that sound damn impressive. (and no I don't mean anything from beats)

For earbuds I have the Sennheiser CX680. I've heard the newer models (OCX685, CX685) and they have definitely decreased the quality in the production and the sound. If you can find a set of the older CX680 or CX680i models, definitely check them out. Don't even bother with the MX or PMX lines, they are garbage.

Have you ever deadlifted or done squats with any weight? The cord gets bunched up under your shirt then you stand up and it sticks to you and YANK out of your ear they go.

Should have gone with this instead of the Beats! Although I do like that the beats had an built in microphone and remote in the wire.

If I sell my Beats, I will pick these up otherwise it would be such a wasted dropping almost another $200 on a pair of headphones.

I would look on Amazon or online, that is where I got mine. Was 50 bucks cheaper than the apple store.

    THIS.

I've had these for years, and the sound quality is far beyond anything else I've tried so far. The only major downfall is that they're terribly noisy when you're running/jogging... they're more of a 'sit and relax with your favourite music' type of earbud if you ask me.

Also, those Dash earbuds look really cool actually. I'm curious to see the actual sound quality of them.

I am seeing many on ebay for $50 or so...might go with one of those. I don't really care for the brand.

HeadFi isn't a huge fan fan of those, there are better headphones for $100 (MSRP on the B&W I think is around $150), but at $50 that is a pretty good deal.

I didn't mean that particular brand is going for $50 on ebay. I meant generic ones that work and look like that. Essentially I need a Bluetooth one that goes behind the neck without causing any hassle. Don't really care about the brand.

I got these at Christmas and love them. Comfortable great sound, just the microphone side could be better. Picks up to much ambient sound.

^I saw those ones on ebay. Made an offer to the seller so let's see. Are you able to comment on the headphones a little bit? In regards to the music quality, how they fit in the ear, what they come with (diff. in ear bud size in particular), weight, durability etc?

    Thanks!

I guess I didn't pay enough attention and I ended up buying Plantronics Backbeat Go for pretty much the same price as Backbeat Go 2 on ebay!

How tall are you? I never ever have that issue but I'm 6'4 or so, so the cord is generally fairly stretched out enough that it does not get bunched up. I also run the cord under my shirt so its not flinging around.

Personally, I've been using something like these:
    http://store.sony.com/hybrid-2-way-i...pfm%3Dcategory

I'll have to actually look at what I have and see if the model number is still on them, they're a couple years old and just started wearing them again.

I picked up those monster IEM that a few guys picked up during the holidays but the cord is too short for me at the gym haha.

I just wear the iPhone5 headphones are they really that bad? Seriously I don't know. I bought some sennheiser in ear headphones and they are ok but not as good as the iPhone.

I'm not going for noise canceling just quality and a little bass.
