First time I've heard of such a thing. Client of mine is asking if I could supply them with an easel that could support a 160 lb Plasma TV.
Any idea where one would even begin to look for a heavy duty easel in Calgary? (something industrial)

Thats EXACTLY my thought .... beyond wins
I have one. Some people hate it. Some people love it. I love mine. I got mine at sears for 200 bucks. It was a floor model and original asking price was 1200.
What a life.
no one else wondering about the 160lb plasma?? holy shit thats heavy for a tv lol
Its a stupid, 60" 10-15 year old DISPLAY unit (no tuner, speakers etc) that was probably worth $10-15k back in the day that the client insists they put to use. Pioneer Elite series - great picture though.
This store has to be the biggest rip off out there. Sure they have brought some unique pieces to the masses however anything they sell is available through other vendors for 1/3rd of the price.Originally posted by syscal

^ any recommendations for vendors ?
Sorry wasn't specifically speaking about the easel. I was looking at beds and when I saw the price of the easel I decided to post that.Originally posted by revelations

Just and FYI the price you see may not be the price you pay. When you look at the beds in their store they will order it for you and then you are required to be an additional 20% because they ship from the U.S. I'm not sure if it is the same for these other products.
This site looks pretty bad but a custom made one would probably be cheaper:

That's normal. I have a 65" plasma weighing ~200 lbs. I've been looking for a creative stand for a while.Originally posted by EK69

I had the puppy mounted onto a 3-studded wall mount without any problems....not sure how it would look in the long term though.
