I'm fairly certain it was connected to this incident, but I was heading to Mackenzie Towne to a buddy's house on Saturday around 4pm. Traffic was slowly moving but it was backed up to 130AVE.
to all those assclowns that drove onto the grass, onto the 130ave offramp, and REVERSED up the ramp.
that's insane. any pics of his gf?
I bet she's just gonna get a slap on the wrist and blame this whole thing on her boy.
Apparently she caught some of the bullets as well.Originally posted by Themarkuss

She was sent to hospital in critical condition which I wouldn't term as a 'slap on the wrist' at all, no matter how the trial goes.
I am in no way condoning what the thieves did however i am curious to know why cps didn't they try to immobilize the vehicle via spike strips, shooting out tires or so on.
BOOSTIN
I Love me some turbo action
When you run from the police and drive the wrong way on deerfoot your going to have a bad time. Police did what they needed to do in my opinion.
I get the feeling that people in his social circle die a lot.
I believe they had the vehicled boxed in. You can't immobilze a vehicle any further at that point via strips or shooting out tires since the driver could hit the gas and move the vehicle far enough to hurt one of the officers.Originally posted by blackpeople

When you turn an 8,000lb truck into a deadly weapon and try to run down police officers, it's a bit different that evading.Originally posted by blackpeople

Shooting out the tires does nothing to immobilize a vehicle.
Yeah, she'll be facing real charges as well. The police shot her on purpose because she did something to make herself an immediate, deadly threat.Originally posted by toastgremlin

See Crank. See Crank Walk. Walk Crank Walk.
I went to Junior High with an Ashley Silver... I could definitely see this being her. Any pics??
Great job by Cps!
I don't think CPS uses spike strips anymore, not since a cop got run over laying em down on deerfoot which led to us buying the first police helicopter from the movie Speed.

Apparently. This isn't the first time that he tried to run down the cops with a stolen vehicle... He was awaiting trial for the last charges when this happened.Originally posted by toastgremlin

In the police addressing the media he stated the TAC team members used their side arms. So pretty damn good marksmanship for a handgun/pistol.Originally posted by n1zm0
It says the 2 officers who shot at the truck were TAC team, so we can assume this was assault rifle accuracy most likely?

Almost two full pages and not a single "chill guy got iced" comment.
that's a 10+ shot group that was likely fired within the span of 2 seconds. I'd bet money that you couldn't fire that group at that speed from any distance if your life depended on it.Originally posted by 01RedDX
It was probably less than 10 feet away. I can do the same with my buddy's Bushmaster ACR at 50 ft and I'm no marksman.
