Recommendations for Garage Builder

Hi Beyond,

Does anyone have recommendations for a garage builder in Calgary?

I'm just looking for a 24x24 double garage, nothing fancy.

I used SilverSummit for my garage last summer. No BS and a decent price with good build quality. Mike is a good guy and willing to customize to your needs. I think the website is silversummit.ca.

On a side note, did you used to own a few 2nd gen ludes?

I might have seen that name from the preludepower days.

I wasn't a fan of AAHI Garage Builders
Cost me around 23k for a 22x22

- Process started good from the quote to when they would start, poor, and set-up
- Electricians had to come back a few times because of stupid mistakes (1 time they came back because of a misunderstanding)
- Garage was completed and we were supposed to exchange the final cheque and our final invoice/paper-work. We handed them the cheque and was told we would get our paperwork emailed and permits mailed. Didn't get the paperwork until 1.5-2 months later after constant emails and calls. Blame blame blame to us for this and that.


Some things were on my end but not everything. When I pay over 20k for a product I deserve to get a great product and service. I would never recommended them to anyone I know or work with.
