From my days working at Ferrari of Alberta and Bentley/Aston of Calgary, I was blown away by the Lambo population in Calgary considering there is no authorized service facility. Distinctive is as close as it gets and we purchased the proper diagnostic tools for working on them. I think they will do exceptionally well here. Especially if they build a very high end dealer. I know the Ferrari dealer is a temporary location but even i was unimpressed with the finish and quality of the dealership. Very outclassed by many dealers like Distinctive and even Infiniti by the automall. Lambo owners are loyal to the brand too. Ive seen alot of Ferrari guys swap to Lambo but not many the other way around (only when the 458 came out). As long as they minimize vehicle down time (lots of parts stock and fast warranty claims) they will do just fine here.

    Their presence is much needed.

    That said, isn't Lotus dead?
Let me rephrase what I said.

why the fuck does anyone who lives in Calgary drive a lambo? so they can park it at Melrose for 2 months of the year when we have nice weather?

speaking of Melrose, where are the 20some Ferraris (and bikes) going to go park on 17th now?

I want to do that SO bad. Was it an expensive tour?

Also, Lotus isn't dead... yet. I sure hope they find a way to remain afloat though. My favourite cars BY FAR.

Because they have money and can drive whatever they would like and perhaps have more than one car?

Hmm, right by my house. Looks like I won't need a stereo in the backyard anymore, I'll be listening to the sweet sound of V10's all summer long

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

I don't recall the tour itself being too expensive. But it was basically a full day, when you include the time to travel there and back to/from London. It's out in the boonies. (Tube, train, taxi... and the reverse to get home. Unless you rented a car to get there).

Wow that took them a while to go to Calgary . I see tons and tons of Lambos everyday in Vancouver (Mostly Aventadors with N stickers on them) but nice to see some upscale Car dealerships in Calgary .

I've only had my lotus for a year but weissach usually brought their techs to Calgary for 2 weeks for any service Lotus related. It'll be a lot nicer now that I don't have to plan around that schedule, since I'm in Edmonton.

Dealership lobbyists are screwing that model up for them, something like 10 states have already passed a law that auto manufacturer's must have a dealership sales network -- no direct sales.
