That is to prevent the oil burn from collecting on the bumper

Who on here had a 300zx like that? Luckily, they changed it if I remember correctly.

Speaking of exhausts - if you are the owner (or happen to know the owner) if a black CTS wagon who was up on Stoney Trail last night, your exhaust sounds HORRIBLE. Not only do you drive your car like a douche at full throttle everywhere, but you're polluting with both the black smoke out your exhaust (tune your freakin car), as well as a very loud exhaust which makes coffee can exhausts on civics sound like a Borla on a vette.

And considering you were WOT the whole time I saw you, it is surprising how slow your car actually is - regardless of what I believed to be a v-series badge on the back.

    Just. Stop.

So if someone were to run into that exhaust (just the exhaust only) at a stop light, who would be at fault?

Don't you need to have a orange/reflective flag on anything that sticks out past the bumper?

I do not know the exact number, but there is an allowance of something like 12 inches (or else think of all the trailer hitch receivers that would need to be flagged).

I really hope a whistle tip has been welded to the end of that exhaust!

i had a similar question involving a giant receiver hitch sticking out a foot from the rear bumper. if someone rear end diesel douche that thing will do some serious damage. and arent things built to crumple for safety rather then have a metal lance sticking out the back?
