30 and 40 have come and gone.....maybe never!
I got big dreams, going to be a millionaire by 30!!!
I'm broke as fuck all the time, screw you assholes
30 has come and gone... maybe by 40?
I'm a millionare already, but I'm not even 30 yet
I'm a millionare already, but I am way older than 30

That's me, but I chose the Before-40 option
I'm surprised there are not more entrepreneurs here that are pursuing that goal. I finished school when I was 24 (got my Masters) and was hoping I would be a millionaire by 35. However I slowly realized it's not fun to just chase after money and I rather be happy waking up for work everyday, then to be miserable in a 8-5 job but have a pretty bank account.
With that said, I have a house now with 3 cars, travel 3-4 times/year, and I am actively involved with 2 different technology start-ups that could push me into the 7 figures range if they become successful so in a way I'm sort of on track. It's alot of work though and there is no way I could do it if I don't enjoy what I do.
I'm turning 30 in a month.

I never said I was good at following my own advice?
It's an addiction and a slippery slope.
Sounds like you're talking about alcoholism
If I would have been self employed as a tradesman at 25, the 30 goal would have been achievable. I didn't get the real itch to be self employed till I was 35.

Why is it your business to say anyway? lol.Originally posted by cjblair
And where does financing your BMW, selling it, then financing another new car fall into place with this?
Some of the posts in this thread are really interesting. Seems like there's plenty of overly optimistic financial plans in here.

I have 13 years to get there.
Done modifying vehicles. Haven't bought a mod for the Jeep in 8 months and no plans at all for anything else. Truck is done, nothing going to be bought for it and it'll be paid off this summer.

Not all things on the internet are srs business. I really don't care how people fund their car mods... I'm sure we'd have half the nice cars we currently do on this site if people never went into debt for them

Only in an Alberta forum would you find a thread with people obsessed over such a trivial goal.
Having financial goals was invented in Alberta and doesn't exist anywhere else in the world, right?Originally posted by googe

Where's the option for millionaire in 30s?
Millionaire?
I'm going for billionaire by 30
According to the survey, 15.91% of us are millionaires. That's truly amazing...
