It was great meeting with you on Saturday night! I am glad that you came and hope you had a good time.
I also appreciated our conversation the previous weekend at Starbucks and have really enjoyed getting to know you. You have done an awesome job with the AmeriCorps, rowing team and the annual conference.
note: no clue what he means by annual conference I found all the friends, interests and experiences that you shared to be remarkable. You are one of the nicest people I have met, and I am amazed at your adaptability to live in different cities, make friends and find fun activities.
I would like to continue getting to know you better and want to become close friends. I am interested in listening and knowing the real you. I can also share more about myself too. I sense that since we recently met, we may be holding back a little or staying in our comfort zone. I would like to deeper into the iceberg. I have an open heart and would support you no matter what.
I would like to meet with you again on Thursday or Friday night if you are available. I imagine that we can learn more about each other, reflect on our week, talk about our activities and interests, give encouragement and see where the conversation goes. I prefer that we meet at your place or my place to stay warm inside and have more privacy. How does that sound to you?
I apologize if some moments last night did not go smoothly. I am working on making these social outings smoother. I always intend to be as kind and gentle as possible, and sometimes I inadvertently make a mistake. If I have done anything wrong, please let me know and I will work on it.

Boring, possibly relevant backstory:
-Moved here 2 months ago.
-Went to an improv workshop and met the only other person there under 30.
-Invited me to Toastmasters (cool, I've always wanted to join)
-I go, he and I are the only people under 50 easily.
-Asks me to coffee, ok sure.
-Talk for a few hours over coffee, leave with a hug.
-Asks to meet up again, this time for Chinese and with his friends. ok sure, I can always use more friends.
-Go, have Chinese with his friends, back to one friend's apartment for boardgames.
This is it. All his communications were done through email and uber formally, which struck me as weird but I was looking past it. That or he would call at weird hours, like 11 on a Thursday morning.
I got this email this morning and it freaked me the fuck out. I don't know if it's because it's genuinely creepy, or if my "creep-sense" is off because I am not used to people in general being this forward. But the parts that hit me as creepy I bolded in the email above.
I have a Toastmasters meeting tonight that I am not looking forward to since I know for a fact he will be there, and I can't avoid him as it is a small group. I also meet with another group on Tuesday nights that he was considering joining, so Mondays and Tuesdays now make me feel anxious and not wanting to go.)
TLDR: Am I crazy for being freaked out by this email?
