My car is noisier at 30, than 50, lol. Just the way it's geared, higher rpms, and at you'll hear me for almost twice as long

Rage2 I think is suggesting a slower speed limit will help prevent this:

I spit water on my screen when she went back in the puddle.

Faster speed might have helped her actually:

after my dog and I were almost hit the other day by some fag living a street over in a lifted 3/4 ton with a big metal mulisha sticker on his back window... I'd support my neighborhood making streets 30 in residental too.

again what I mean by that is side streets... where 50 is the limit, and people push that to 70k already, so at least 30, people won't be going 70 on side streets or cul de sacs where kids are playing.

^^^That is now how it works though, reckless drivers will still exceed the speed limit so them being a dbag is no reason to lower all the residential speed limits in the city. If people are always driving 70 that would be something you could contact the police over to check into as yes, that is unreasonable.

Stupid people gonna be stupid, it's not like a lower speed limit is going to stop them from doing that.

And I don't think anyone goes 70 on cul de sacs. . . . Almost never see people do 70 on residential roads to begin with, people generally stick to 60 max.
Although its generally the soccer moms in their suv's and minivans that do 70 from what I've seen.

Here is a good reading about how that 30 sign would work...

    Speed limit signs

Speed limits do not indicate the
    maximum speed drivers should travel.
They are the maximum speed permitted
when conditions are ideal. Any speed
that is unsafe for the current conditions is
    illegal.

Good ninja edit there, firebane. I was going to comment that the metric system came into force way back when I was in high school and as such, your comment about MPH (before your ninja edit) just didn't have any weight.
    Will fuck off, again.
