    Default 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix

Ricciardo starts with a 10 place grid penalty and a drive through penalty for the pit incident in Sepang.

Looks like minimal tension between Bottas and Massa this race.

Is it a drive through as well? I thought it was just the grid penalty.

I'm pretty sure it's just a 10 place grid penalty. The stop and go was served in the stop where he retired in Malaysia.

Mercedes just trolling everyone in FP1, FP2 is live right now for those that have TSN.

update - Rosberg being investigated for blocking after FP2.

I think Mercedes for the most part is going to be trolling people all year long. Nobody is going to touch them.

Yea, what nobody has really mentioned is that Mercedes is just as fast as the RBR's in the high downforce fast corners. Their chassis this year is as good as the RBR chassis. Only way RBR can catch up is if Renault pulls a miracle out of their ass with 80 more hp, and better fuel economy. It was shocking last race how Hamilton destroyed everyone while using much less fuel.

Nobody else has a chance. My McLaren bet this year isn't going to pay off. Speaking of which, Mibz I owe you $100 I think haha.

What happened to McLaren's pace from Australia?
RBR will be much closer to the Mercs once Renault sorts out the power unit. I'm guessing maybe after Spain. Read somewhere that Renault have been putting a lot of hours in the dyno trying to fix all the software bugs.

Ya it was shocking how Lewis controlled that race was better on fuel and much better on tyre management than Nico. Was it just because of how the car was set up for Lewis?

I think I read that Rosberg had no idea why his tire wear was so bad. Could've been a setup thing, could've been a subliminal thing where he drove a little harder just because he had Vettel behind him. Dunno. I think Bahrain is gonna be a snorefest up front. Which is great because I've got work to do on Sunday morning, haha.

I don't think McLaren has pace to begin with. They just benefitted from a bunch of faster cars retiring.

Each driver have their own setups.

Being a Flames and McLaren fan has been pretty damn tiring the last few years.

looks like we might have same results as malaysia here too. Ferrari still can't keep up with Mercedes and RBR. Force india has been up there too with the big boys.

They got my hopes up after Australia and then Button said that they'll be 0.5s quicker in Malaysia which got me hyped up even more. I'm starting to lose hope but McLaren has always been pretty good with developing the car in the second half with the exception of the 2013 season

It's exciting seeing people break, but this season can (and will) quickly turn into 2013 if Merc continues to dominate. I hate Vettel, and I'm glad he's not winning (yet), but it's gonna be just as boring watching drivers I like win by 30 seconds all the time.

This race should be pretty good since the field has really jumbled from the last race even in the front row. Glad I don't have to stay up extra late for it either.
Would be interesting to see what happens between the Mercedes cars in the first corners. I'd like to see Bottas make the podium.

Wow....Ferrari just suck... again...now what? for the 4 year in a row? Which is sad for a team that is a symbol for F1.

Regarding the car itself though, I think aerodynamics is good, they have major problems with power delivery.
