Chromecast Setup

I just got a Chromecast from amazon.ca but I'm having a hell of a time setting it up.

I've used both my iPad and my S3 to set it up with the same result. It allows me to connect to the Chromecast to do the initial setup and connect the Chromecast to my WIFI network but it won't allow my devices to connect to it. My MacBook, iPad, and S3 all have the same results. I've checked my router settings and the uPNP is enabled so I'm not sure what else to try.

My ISP is TELUS so not sure if that's a problem or not.

Anyone have any suggestions?

So the chromecast shows that it's connected to your router/access point on the lower left part of the tv screen?

just wait.. haha i thought it was screwy or not work with our router but it worked after liek 5-10 mins

Check your router settings, is it currently set up to allow for wireless b/g connections? I've found that the chromecast often wont connect properly when this happens. I switched to wireless n only and so far so good for me.

Anyone have issues setting it up in a dual wifi house setup. It will only recognize the initial wifi that is was setup

It sure does but it won't communicate with any of my devices. Keeps saying that they may be on different networks which they clearly are not.
