Anyone know what kind of car this is? I'm guessing its Chinese but I have no idea.

Wow.. I thought someone would know. Guess it isn't an easy one.
Do you have a picture of the rest of the car?
looks like a lister logo, but doubt it
I don't but maybe I can get one.. if I had a pic of the car it would likely be a lot easier.

after racking my brain and coming up blank, I went back to basics.
Look at the logo shape, forget the vertical lines. Reminded me of KIA.
went looking for Kia badge options and found this.

Nice work! My girlfriend said she thought it was Korean (the logo) so that is pretty funny.

It appears that these guys just sell symbols for you to install to replace whatever your cars brand is.. what a weird business:

I imagine there is a pretty big market out there for people who want to try and hide the fact they are driving a kia/hyundai.
Why de-badge, when you can re-badge ,
Good idea for those buying a $60000 Kia.

My 2012 Optima SX was a pretty great car.
I think that Kia and Hyundai are making some great stuff.. I think it may just be the perception of having something special that people are drawn to, who knows.. branding is funny stuff.

Good business for the 3 people who might actually buy a 60k Kia new.
There no real way to un-cheapen a Kia or Hyundai though, maybe put an Acura or Lexus badge on one?
Which brings me to something I dont understand. I've seen several Acura's with Honda badges, and Lexus'with Toyota badges. I would think one would want to be the other way around, making a expensive car appear to be a cheaper make is just
No Audi owners willing to put VW symbols on their rides?

Were they RHD cars? In Japan, Lexus & Acura dont exist, their (to my knowledge) a north-american branding ideal, it may happen elsewhere in the world, but certainly not in japan. There, Honda & Toyota are construed as "premium" brands, so there is no need to have the north american "Acura" or "lexus" there, as to the short, black haired folk from Japan, both Honda & Toyota already have the esteem that Lexus & Acura do here.
The premium Lexus & Acura cars & SUV's in Japan are labeled under the regular Honda & Toyota badging. Hence the fact you've seen Honda Integra's and the like. Actually here, the Toyota Avalon is pretty much a Lexus all things considered, but with Toyota badging pretty much, and a lower price tag because of it.
As for the pic of the Audi with VW badges? dunno why some one would do that.

"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side"
Nah, these wern't JDM cars. One was a fairly late model Lexus IS300. I've also seen several usdm RSX's and SC400 Lexus' with badge swaps. I guess it's just not as cool to rock a Lexus or Acura (audi too?) is some cases.Originally posted by Graham_A_M

At least that owner has a sense of humor about it.
It's just that Kia and Hyundai USED to be the laughing stock of the automotive world. I actually played a game once to see if I could find a Hyundai Excel or Pony that didn't have black soot all over the bumper. I lost.Originally posted by A790

While I'm not keen on all their vehicles these days, the same could be said of my opinion of most manufacturers. For the most part, they are now just as good and as nice as most other mainstream manufacturers.
I have to agree, I have a Hyundai Genesis sedan and I have to say that I was blown away with the quality and the drive of the car. They have alot more to prove and they are doing really well. Everyone who has driven with me in my Genesis has been REALLY surprised that it is a Hyundai. That being said my car has no Hyundai H logos on it anywhere.Originally posted by Kloubek
