Sitting in the theatre right now waiting for this to start. Decided to venture out and check out Landmark's recliner seating. Its like a la-z-boy in the theatre with triple leg room. So awesome.

I can eat more hot wings than you.
just came back from the 7pm show (bought regular ticket impulsively the night before) in cross iron.
great movie, definitely better than I-III, same feeling as watching the original trilogy, although too similar?and slightly disnified.
VIII cant come soon enough (may 2017)
I just saw it, it was better than I thought it would be!
apparently Danial Craig was one of the stormtrooper in the movie
don't read it though unless you've seen the movie as it has a little bit of spoiler

just saw this - it was epic. i had low expectations and at around the 20-30 minute mark of the movie was thinking to myself "this is the greatest movie ever".
it went slightly downhill from there but still stayed strong throughout. very impressed with the casting, all of the new characters were awesome. what I loved most about it, but what I suspect critics will pick apart, was the many parallels drawn from Episode 4: A New Hope. very similar plot lines throughout.
9.5/10
How were the crowds considering your showtime and location? Pretty everyday like or was it chaos?
I'm seeing it on Tuesday because my exams are done then and I'm also a cheap ass. Hopefully it dies down by then.

Did you guys see the same movie? It was pretty average. Storyline was just re-hashed bits and pieces of their other movies. I had reserved expectations going in and it was justified.
I found it mediocre. It's like they sat down with a list of checkboxes from every nutball fan critique from the past 20 years and found some way to address every one of them in one movie. Meanwhile they forgot they actually need to have a fucking movie to go with it.
I just got back and found it really enjoyable. I can definitely see parts of the movie where people will pick it apart but quite honestly I didn't really care cause I thought it was a fun movie to watch from start to end.
I just came back from the 6:30 viewing at Eau Claire and the theatre was about a third full. They let people in about 30 minutes before it started and there couldn't have been more than 50 people. If you want to avoid line ups and crowds go there. Even looking at the line ups for the late showing on the way out, it looks about 50 people in line.Originally posted by Jonathanl10

For those who haven't seen it yet, there are no post credit scenes so you don't have to wait around.
Just at the Blakes private invitational. They booked the entire Theater, every screen. Insane!
Hot breakfast, popcorn , everything on them. Crazy.
Anyone else here for this?
Yea it felt like the old movies rolled into one BUT it was still super enjoyable!
Great movie and can't wait for the next one.

Saw it last night... I loved it! There were a few pretty far fetched things, and some plot holes, but I really enjoyed it.

My theatre, the projectionist fucked up and did not shut the projection room's light for like 5 mins. Glare off everyone's glasses.
Movie was great. It like JJ's reboot of Star Trek, there is nothing new but a few plot lines.
Still, it got emotional for a few scenes. Good movie, not great and nothing we have not seen before.

Much of the same. Way better than 1 to 3 but definitely not an amazing movie any means.
Whole thing just felt like a nostalgia fest and them throwing in things to keep the fans of the original series happy. I was obsessed with movies 4 to 6 as a kid so that alone made the movie very enjoyable for me. But it could have been alot better.
I felt like jj Abraham did more to make new star trek movies feel new and refreshed.
Pretty good movie but I felt the movie's pacing was rushed or everything was too coincidental. I enjoyed it though, I mean if episode 8 was out I'd be in line to see it.
Either it's rushed since it's for the ADD generation or it's trying to hide that you've seen most of this before in episode 4-6.Originally posted by Wakalimasu

Ya pretty average movie.
Seems like they borrowed every plot point from previous movies and overall didn't like the plot at all.
I also didn't like the bad guys character - started off bad ass but then turned into a pussy.
How did the girl master Force so easily and quickly? She learned of the forces existence and all of a sudden, because she decided to, she could use it and do things only jedi masters could do. So that was lame.
Visually the movie was very good though. I honestly got bored watching it so pretty disappointed.
yes yes agreed here.Originally posted by nonofyobiz

Also, at least the acting wasn't cheesy! I woulda cringed if it was anything like episode 2 love story.
