Default Google Play Music Now Available in Canada!!!!!!!!!!!

Google play music is now available in Canada in both Store and Radio. I signed up already. http://g.co/PlayMusicCA gives you a 60 day trial instead of 30 and then after 60 days it is $7.99 a month instead of $9.99 if you keep subscribing. 20,000 songs to choose from so far iirc and the radio is pretty good. You can share playlists and also stream this throuh a chromecast. I believe now that it is actually available in Canada you can easily sign up and upload your own music and stream that also!
There are deals right now on albums for $1.49 also in the store front.

Fuck finally! Been waiting forever for this. My Nexus 5 has been pretty much full for a while now and this should help with the limited storage.

Just cancelled my US account. A note to people that had it on a US CC. You have to cancel and wait out the billing period before you can re-sign up using the promotion and with a canadian CC

That's better than I'd of thought. May have to pick up some of the harder to find stuff.

I had actually just downloaded this FLAC player earlier today before I saw this thread...70% off right now and has excellent ratings:

If you buy music, you can download it or stream it
With all access it is all streaming, album/radio station etc
If you upload your own music you can stream it or download it to the device. It will download predicatively thinking of what you might listen to and thus saving you some data which actually works pretty well. You can also turn off streaming on data so that you are only playing what is on the device.

Thats not entirely true. You can cache music from all access to play offline. Its in a google music only format however.

I've been using all access for almost a year now and it is single handidly the most amazing music service on the market right now.

Now that its 100% legit in canada it makes it that much sweater. Im just hoping it doesn't pull a netflix and make the content different depending on region.

Before even listening to anything I can already tell I'll be switching away from rdio.

    - able to upload my own music
    - able to block explicit songs from radio (big one when the kids are around)
    - $2/mth less
    - I assume WAY less buggy than RDIO is on my phone, time will tell but that app sucks (improved a lot recently though)

Ya it works really good. I thought I wouldn't like it with all of the music I have uploaded but it has way more and allows me to explore new stuff easily.

20,000 is how many songs you can have in your digital locker, there are 25mm songs to choose from via all access/store

Yea, that almost scared me off until I checked out the site and it was referencing "millions of songs". Sign up for trial, make sure they have Die Antwoord and a few other odd favorites and I'm good, lol.

They don't have Metallica or Tool? But other than that, it's awesome so far.

    Fucking finally!

Been using the cloud service for a year or so with the hack but now having it officially is awesome. Signed up for all access. Chromecast to my tv. fuck yes.

Bunch of Canadian albums on sale for $1.49 for the launch too.

You can cache anything for offline playback too with all access.
