Default Ball park price to get rid of a concrete parking pad for more yard space

We need more yard space and thinking about getting rid of our double concrete parking pad. .. any one know how much this would cost?? I mean couldn't one do this them selves and just pay for the concrete chunks removal??

Also. .. how will it affect our home Value. .. it's a 1336 two storey home on an already tiny lot in Evansridge. .. There is tons of street parking because we live across from the sides of two houses and all our neighbors have rear garages and we would have the biggest yard on the block without the pad.

Now we're thinking maybe build a deck over it that way we can keep it intact?? Or is that retarded and crazy?

Most people want garages. Having a pad already built is worth about 4 or 5g and allows you to build a garage for another 6 or 7g.

Getting rid of it I assume would cost around 1 - 2g.

I say it decreases your home value and also costs you out of pocket. Its lose lose but if you plan to live there for a while and do not care as much on resale make it what you want.

I would keep it personally. Can't beat an existing concrete pad for a hot tub

I'm leaning towards just building a deck over it. .. less grass to cut haha plus keep the thing intact for the future. .

Certainly starting with a great (and free) foundation for a deck.

Next question is "How much would it cost me to have someone build me a deck"
A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.
