Lots of solid choices in here. Great thread OP!
Interesting you post a ghia. The Type 34 Ghia is a car I have always wanted. Unfortunately the guy who runs the T34 ghia registry always tries to get in the middle of every deal to act as a broker between the buyer and seller (for a fee of course).

Seems like the vast majority of people really misunderstood the point of this thread, and are just posting their oddball dream cars (most of which are actually pretty cool).
On the subject of the OP, a 1st or 2nd gen Miata falls under that category for me. Super gay, but probably a blast to drive.
Same with a JDM Pulsar GTi-R.

There one of these in town with around 50,000kms. Original owner and he only drives it in summer. Looks like new, blue with woodgrain sides.
I'm a big fan of the '70's Gremlin too. Its the only classic car that I would even consider wasting any money on.
I would totally butcher it though, it wouldn't be stock for long. Would probably end up doing an "Overhaulin'" job on it, V8 swap, lowering, updated wheels, smoked signals blah blah blah.
The only other desire car I have is a Lotus Exige, but that doesn't work so well for me, since it barely has the space to put a condom in the trunk, let alone a set of golf clubs.

God that thing is hideous. I could see why you'd want to have one though, it's kind cool. haha

Would also settle for the wagon version haha.
Dreamboat Interior haha
Not a car but I'll still play:
"Anarchism is not a romantic fable but the hardheaded realization, based on five thousand years of experience, that we cannot entrust the management of our lives to kings, priests, politicians, generals, and county commissioners."
Not sure if it's been mentioned but a car I still love to this day is the Honda CRX. I would love to have an unmolested 1991 CRX Si Special Edition.

Or a CRX Exclusive from Japan
I have a soft spot for some Euro and Japanese cars I'd love as well as trucks. All vehicles that are within reach but I do not have the garage space to have them. Many people think I have a strange taste, hopefully some do appreciate them though!
I'd love a true Eurospec E28 BMW M5.

A mid 80's Mercedes-Benz 500SEC, preferably an AMG widebody.

My true dream car, a NA2 Acura NSX!

Finally some truck love, some may think they're ugly, but I'd love a mid 90's HZJ77 Land Cruiser.
