I signed up for the smash-your-phone. Didn't hear back.

I have a feeling it won't get too mainstream like HuaWei

Having seen the Oppo phones, I'm confident that these are going to be more than capable phones. Nice to see more competition and hopefully it will drive phone prices down.

All the tech blogs are raving about this phone. Personally the lack of wireless charging kills it for me but otherwise pretty awesome phone with a good story behind it. Tough to see how they will make money tho.

Love the phone and what it is for the industry but i think it wont be as well received because its in the phablet space. There aren't too many people that want a massive phone. That being said, ill probably get one haha

That looks like an incredible phone, especially for $299. I love seeing more stuff like this hit he market. 5.5" is getting up there for size, but not too bad. 5" or just under seems to be the sweet spot maximum for people who are used to smaller phones.

Come November again, I suspect it will be harder than ever to pick the best phone. Good.

I was going to say if it weren't for the capacitive buttons I'd be interested. But just quickly checked the review and see that you can turn them off, so that's pretty nice.

However I have a Nexus 5, so I hardly need an upgrade.

I think I'll be getting one of these! Would be a nice replacement for my nexus 4 with a broken screen

Am I the only one thinking that N4/N5 are perfect phone sizes?

I love the size/shape of my N5 its the perfect to me. Don't think I could go any bigger. Too bad they are not making a 5 inch version of this.

I agree as well...around the 5" screen size is perfect. Anywhere in that 4.7-5.0 range. 5.5" is pushing it for screen size IMO, at that point you might as well just go all out with a Note or something since it probably won't fit in a pants pocket anymore.

I think "mini" versions of phones would be popular if they would keep the same hardware. Normally they put junk hardware in the smaller versions.

I have been following this phone for a while and it does seem very impressive for the price point. Its good to see a brand offering quality specs at a decent price. I do miss having a smaller phone at times. Im using the HTC One Max.. 5.9" lol. No pocket use for this phone.

One thing I want in a phone is zero bezel, this way they can push the size of the screen without impacting the overall size. Rumors are, the apple 6 should have this.

I wish they made a dual sim version! I recently had to pick up a Samsung S4 Mini Duos simply cause it was the best dual sim phone I could find. Makes my life so much easier as I don't have to carry two phones. But now I won't be able to switch phones as often as I did before.

And coming from a Note 3, the size difference is HUGE. The S4 mini feels like a toy in my hands compared to the Note 3.

You MUST have bezel. Think of how your hand holds it. The way your skin of your hand would wrap around the edge and cover screen/touch digitizer. I already have this problem with one handed operation on the slim bezel phones.
