I don't think anyone chased Dave off. I think Dave just had enough with some of the comments and attitudes on Beyond at the time, and snapped. IIRC he just mashed his keyboard for a password and *poof*

His old user name was Maddawg or maddog or something like that, wasn't it?

Dave is one of the best guys I know, but wears his heart on his sleeve, and can cause some snap responses.

Can someone explain the Spoons issue in detail (names of people/companies being omitted is understandable). This may have been detailed or linked already, but I did a find in page for Spoons and didn't see a whole lot of details. I'm feeling too lazy to read the whole thread word for word to confirm. I can post a few more "man/woman gets (insert body part) ripped off by (insert object/machine/animal/etc.) news stories as a Thank You haha.
