Default Where to buy: Truck Canopy / Topper - paint to match

So i know there are several pickup truck accessory dealers in town, here's the list I have made and the brands they sell:
    Raven (Leer)
    Cap-it (Leer)
    Auto Truck Depot (Arrow)
    The Truck Outfitters (Raider)
Alberta Trailer in Innisfail (Range Rider)
    Custom Truck Parts (ARE)

I'm looking for feedback about two things:
    1) which canopies are built best, last best etc
    2) where to get a good deal

I have had zero luck finding one on the used market in the colour I want, and since I'd have to get it painted anyway, it looks like new is my best option.

Come on truckers, what do you think?
Also, if anyone is selling a used one in silver that fits an F150 with the 5.5' bed, let me know!

prepare to bend over. These toppers are crazy money.

I was going to suggest The Truck Outfitters, they seem to be a pretty good outfit.

Buy Arrow or Range Rider. I will vouch for the factories, both are very well built by locals in my hometown! It's great to support small town Canadian companies, and the product is excellent. They have a ton of them out in their yards. I could take a quick look next time I go by, or you could try calling them direct:

    Arrow: Toll Free: 1-800-667-6738
    Local: 1-250-494-1986

    Range Rider: Toll Free: 1-800-663-0391
    Local: 1-250-494-0535

Apparently Range Rider can custom paint and ship a topper out to innisfail in around a week most times. Sounds impressive.

Raider is made in Canada too I think.

Range Rider is awesome, everyone here uses them, I have heard of no major issues ever, and have been around them my whole life. I love their paint booth too, can see them working from the road. Cant go wrong with a small town company that has been around for 30+ years.

We have had ARE and LEER commercial canopies and they were both very good, can't comment much on the consumer grade stuff though.

Ok truckers, here's what I've found out after a hell of a long time on the phone.
    1) always ask to see if install is included, because some places charge up to $180 for the install.
    2) always ask to see if they hook up the wiring for the third brake light as part fo the install. I found a place that doesn't do this.

I was looking for a cheap topper, without many features. If you are looking at anything else, your mileage may vary.

Raven (Leer), This is who I went with, they appear cheapest and they do include wiring hook-up in the install. I got a Leer legend (same as 100R, just less warranty). They sell that for $1600 installed. I was able to talk a small discount past that because of a hookup. Raven was also very easy to deal with on the phone, very professional, and knowledgeable for my questions.

Cap-it (Leer), samp cap as above, $1699 installed.
Auto Truck Depot (Arrow), Arrow Mark 1, no third brake light, $1789 installed
The Truck Outfitters (Raider), Raider Vagabond, $1980 installed.
Custom Truck Parts (ARE), Range Rider outfitter $1895

Alberta Trailer in Innisfail (Range Rider), Range Rider outfitter, this one got confusing. I was quoted a price of $1595, plus $130 for install. Then they claimed it was $1700, then they claimed it was $1545 because of a bulk order going in that same day. They also WILL NOT hook up the wiring for the third brake light. that $130 basically includes two strong guys to lift it onto your truck, and some monkey to tighten the clamps. I wasn't impressed with them, and after my several discussions, I don't think I would buy from them even if they were cheapest, which they aren't.

Also, paint to match truck canopies are all custom painted at the factory, and usually have a three week delivery time. If you see a sexy silver F150 bombiung around town with the [b] sticker on it, that's me.

    There you go guys.
