See what I mean? Barely a few months after the Q701 and you're upgrading. Trust me man, it's a never ending quest until you've hit a block (i.e. top of the line or out of $$$).

Hang onto the Q701 since you got it so cheap, get something you really want, and sell the Qs.

My buddy swears by the Alpha Dogs. I only worry about their comfort. I really like the Denon AH-D7100 at work as they truly don't leak and at home I swap between the TH900 and HD800 (both of which leak like crazy). Now I just need some better electronics at work..

    Impedance - 32Ù
Weight - Approximately 90g (excluding cord)
    Connector - Gold-plated stereo mini-ö3.5 (L type)
    Cable Length - 1.2m

    Portable or desktop?
headphonebar.com or mp4nation.net are probably good to check. I bought my fiio x1 from headphonebar.

Desktop. The Grado cable length is too cumbersome for commuting.

If you want cheap and dirty buy the Monoprice Headphone amp, it is an amp dac similar to the E9K iirc fiio. Works awesome, many inputs and outputs and is about $120 all in. OOS currently though on their website.

About 5 feet. It is ok, but I prefer it a little longer.

I have the UE6000 and it is decent but my cord volume control shit the bed so now it is way to loud and I cant control the volume I emailed Logitech and they are giving me some free stuff to the value I paid for my UE6000. Good on them.

Yeah like 4-5 feet. You can buy a longer or shorter 3.5mm cable though if you want, I bought a monoprice fancy whatever one that was a big longer than what I had and it just plugs in at each end.

Yeah Logitech support is amazingly good. While replacing one of the cords on my UE TF.10, it ripped apart the headphone. Got an Amerifriend to help me send it in and they replaced it with a new one in the package.

I ended up buying them also. They just came and the sound even off my phone is awesome. Can't wait to try them out at home with my dac/amp. Much more comfy than my AKGs. I didn't listen to clem though.... I will wait a few years until I upgrade to maddog/fostex level
