You should complain. If bike lanes aren't seasonal, bike parking shouldn't be either.

There's also surface parking with Impark, which is cheaper than CPA.

Impark is in many cases not cheaper than CPA by any means.

Impark Surface lot by my building : 37 a day, CPA heating underground parking 2 blocks away 27.

Moto parking on the street is 8$ per day and I refuse to pay anything beyond that.

By the telus lot. Monthly is $110/month. Most of the motorcycle parking for impark is cheap. James short is $120/month. $5.50/day if you ride 20 days a month... Plus not having to worry about finding parking, or getting tickets... My monthly with impark was surprisingly easy to set up, and I didn't have any hassles with them at all for cancellation because they stated all their policies in advance.

i remember looking into this last year. there was no option to pay daily at impark for a motorcycle so you'd get screwed at $20+/day

i wish my schedule allowed me to ride in for the majority each month

Do the math.. if you're parking downtown for more than $110 in street parking.. is it worth it? Or in your case, $20/day... I think its worth it.

Just pissed me off that City of Calgary parkade waitlist makes you start paying Apr 1, but street parking doesn't kick in until May 1... Definite money grab..

I received a gestapo-mobile ticket just a few weeks ago when i forgot to pay on my way out.
