Argentina is my #1 team so I am going to try not to sound BIAS.

The first two games I believe they played like crap. but now that the round of 16 starts, everything will change, I am sure they will step up their game and make it far.

He (Suarez) got a 9 game suspension and has to stay away from football related activities for 4 months.

they also played teams that were not trying to win and were stacking 10 in the box hoping for a draw. Nigeria was the first time we saw Messi gets some room. 2014 will be the year he reaches Maradona status....2015 his carrer crashes in a cloud of cocaine

Round of 16 when they play real teams we will see what they can do with some space.

iirc they only need 1 point to advance too, should be a good match!

I heard that Ghana sent 2 players back home cause they're fighting with management

    edit:

The scandal-wracked Ghana soccer team has indefinitely suspended Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng ahead of its final World Cup group-stage match against Portugal on Thursday afternoon, the country’s soccer federation announced in separate statements.

Muntari, who started Ghana’s first two games but was set to miss the Portugal match because of yellow-card accumulation, was suspended “in the wake of his unprovoked physical attack on an Executive Committee member of the GFA and a management member of the Black Stars, Mr. Moses Armah on Tuesday 24th June, 2014 during a meeting,” the Ghana Soccer Federation (GFA) said in a statement posted on its Web site.

According to Ghanasportsonline.com, “Muntari is alledged to have slapped a member of the Ghana National Team’s management committee,” Moses Armah, and “even chased [him] with broken bottles at the hotel over disagreements with appearance fees and other bonuses owed the players.”

Boateng, who didn’t start against the United States in the opener and was subbed out early in the second half against Germany, was suspended after his “vulgar verbal insults targeted at coach Kwesi Appiah during the team’s training session in Maceio this week,” the Ghana Soccer Federation (GFA) said in a separate statement. “Boateng has since showed no remorse for his actions which has resulted in the decision,” it said.

Earlier this week, Ghana’s president authorized the shipment of $3 million in cash to Brazil so its disgruntled soccer players could be paid for the World Cup. The money was flown in on a plane.

I hope they step it up. If they beat Colombia I'll be impressed.

If you click on multistream you can open the actual game with commentary, if you open it the right way you can resize the window as well, I have 2 windows open, one for the sound and one with the expanded multistream.

    Go Germany!!

lol I thought they were playing Colombia next round but looks like I made a mistake. That would be a good match but looks like it won't happen unless they both reach the final which I doubt.

So Portugal has to win by 5, and Ghana by 2? If the USA loses by 1 for either of those to advance over the USA?

Seems like the USA will advance.

    deutschlandddddddddd
Germany dominated the US hard, would have been funny if ghana had won by two to take second spot, but overall this group was really good to watch.
