Some ricer upgrades and an old photo from this past summer/fall.

Installed my Triple R composites front splitter and some white ford emblem overlays. Looks better than the blue IMO. I'm still waiting for my Enkei's to show up. Hoping late march/early April.

I'm still debating what intercooler I should get. Likely doing COBB but haven't made up my mind yet. Have a nasty knock coming from the back end of my car that I'm having a hard time figuring out so I'll need to do some exhaust adjusting and rear suspension component figuring out to see what the hell it is this coming spring.

    Stay tuned. Got some

I can't believe I just clicked on this thread. I literally live down the street from you and drive/walk by your car every day. You never drive that thing it's always sitting in the driveway!

I just walked my dog tonight and slowly walked by your car admiring it, looks good.

Haha really? Car usually sits since I take the train daily to work. Wouldn't be surprised if we've bumped into each other at some point

    Little update:

Recently did a nice switch to some H&R coilovers. Thanks to Jackie at Zero Limit for the install!!

This photo is the COBB sport springs on the top and coils on the bottom (back is slammed all the way down)
Once my wheels get here I'll be adjusting the suspension as necessary. Likely raising it a inch and a half on the front and inch up back

And I added some wing risers from the group buy on a focus forum from boomba racing

How is the ride on the coilovers? It seems Calgary roads have really gone downhill over the past few years where they have gone heavy on road salt so I've been hesitant to ever go with them.

Their nice really tightened up the car. I honestly advise against springs as they don't seem to do too well with the stock shocks.

I for sure need to raise the car a bit though when the wheels come or I'll be rubbing bad. I'm pretty sure I've caught air with my back end on Anderson heading to evergreen. It's stiffnaa hell since their all the way down in the back

It looks like your coils came with both progressive and linear springs, is that the case? If so, are the progressive up front and the linear in the rear or vice-versa? That seems like a really strange way to do things.

I honestly have no idea what progressive or linear spring difference is.

The springs are attached to the shock body for the fronts and the rears go into a perch and run the shock separately

After some investigation it appears you have progressive springs in both the front and back.

I'm coming into this thread a tad late, and not sure if you've selected an FMIC yet, but:

Levels' seems to have a huge adoption down south...it's on my bucket list as well

Slick ST BTW...love the direction you've gone!

I'm not a fan of that. Stuff like that is cheap for a reason. Last thing I want is the intercooler rusting or pipes especially in our climate.

No I'm not. Not unless somebody gave me an offer I couldn't refuse

Some companies will do linear upfront and progressive out back to try to limit snap oversteer.

Variable rate (progressive springs) are not symmetrical. One end of the spring is wound tighter than the other. The tightly wound end is the softer part. When you compress the spring the tightly wound (soft side) collapses then the rest of the spring starts to compress at the higher rate (stiffer).
