For about 5 or so minutes it hailed very heavily with large hail, biggest one I saw would have been a bit bigger than a golf ball.
But once it started raining it slowed down and the hail turned to pea size.

It was due only to the hail and not from water.
Its pretty selfish of people to stop in the middle of the road just to be under an overpass.... what about all the other people that are still on the road and are now stopped with no protection because some asshats are blocking the road?!

At least you pulled off the road completely....

It even moved the doorknob to the point you can see some unpainted door where it used to be...
Same thing happened to my garage doorknob, I missed the main storm so was pretty shocked when I saw the dent haha.

That was Stuarts RX8 that got hit. Luckily he saved his Miata.

Damn, I've got a car on a flatbed out there, didn't even cross my mind that the hail hit the yard.

The good news it that it's the Chumpcar so IDGAF if it got hail-fucked. Probably thrashed my tarp, though.

Yes, I noticed the 73 STX stickers on the Miata today. That sucks to hear. That BRZ with the black wheels today also had quite a bit of damage. Probably new windows as well.

No glass damage he said. Was parked at Pro Pack in Airdrie.

Shadowz (Nick) took me for a cruise in the Aspen area during winter season... I noticed the streets were plowed cleaner than the rest of the city too.

There are enough dents to likely write off the RX8, the hood and rear doors are aluminium so those repairs add up quickly. Combined with the low value of '04 RX8's I don't see any other options. Back in 2011 it got hit with less than half as many dents and was close to being written off then. I guess I need to come up with a better protection system than foam pads and a tarp On the upside it did give me an excuse to drive Cam's CSP Miata, what a blast.

By the sounds of it I need to tour around the lot a bit more to check out the other cars.

Us inner city folks pay more tax from what I heard they take upper class as priority, or probably more anal people complaining within inner city

    Solution

    1. inflatable queen size bed
    2. cigarette socket plug-in pump from Canadian tire
    3. store in trunk

Ah nothing interesting, just the '88 turbo Daytona we raced a few times. I'm just storing it out there while we wait to take possession of the new place.

Tons of lightening last night from the far, far NW - probably past Cochrane. Nothing happened though.
